Skin may feel slightly sensitive or irritated after. It may also look slightly pink or red. The AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) continues to work in the epidermal layers for a few days. Avoid the sun, and sunscreen is imperative to use the next day and beyond to prevent burns and protect from photosensitivity. 

Due to stimulation, some skin will react by increasing its oil production. This isn’t common, but it does happen in 5-10% of people. Cleansing the skin and using turbo tonik to help reduce sebum production is a great solution to prevent breakouts.
